Billhag Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Sorry I'm still grinning about this now.... This weekend I was part of the UKG's troops for the Adidas Star Wars products roll out and after covering off two stores in the centre of good ol' London Town we had a bit of a social. After a few drinks and a nice Chinese meal, our host showed me some of his helmet collection and whilst I was looking at one of his SDS he ask me to try it on and of course I obliged. As I was putting it on he said to me "No you don't have to twist SDS you can plonk them straght on". This made me laugh at the time (and I'm still grining now) because I'm so used to twisting my head when I put a trooper helmet on that I don't think about any more. So here's one for all you's screen derived helmet wearers,.....right or left? I'm right handed but when I put my helmet on I have the helmet facing forwards and I turn to my left and then twist my head straight on and I'm good to go What about you?, its a strange one I know but it just really got me thinking Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I turn my head to the right. Insert, then twist into position. Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I keep my head straight and put the helmet on with the face to the right. Once it's all the way down, I screw it into place. Nice photo - always enjoy looking at TM armor in action. Quote
TK-7980 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Turn my helmet to the left, then squeeze on and rotate inside till its comfy. Quote
Murray1134[501st] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Face forward, turn the helmet to the right, plunk down and twist. What's funny is I tried turning it the same distance to the left and I couldn't get it on. Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I'm sorry, the awesomeness of these two troopers caused me to forget the question. I'll just enjoy this picture for a while then until my brain re-engages... Quote

ajax407[TK] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I think troopers in the northern hemisphere rotate one way, and those in the southern hemisphere rotate the other way. Quote
snoopy trooper[TK] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 ditto I turn my head to the right. Insert, then twist into position. Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I leave my head facing forwards and rotate my helmet to the left and then screw on. Quote

Jumpin Jax Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Due to a stiff neck after 11 car collisions, I twist 'er on. Quote
