ANH helmet build , in a HDPE style ....

To compliment Nazgul's ESB helmet thread in the esb section , I thought I'd post up some pics of my latest ANH helmet build.

 

I painted this in stages , undercoat , kakhi , and topcoat to give it the chipped up ANH look , I wasn't trying to replicate and specific helmet in the film , just what I thought looked Ok.

Looking good there Andy! You really got the chipped HDPE look perfectly. Love the traps also. Very ANH!

 

Have you dyed the padding, or is it original color?

 

Also do you have a pic of it straight from the side?
