My first Stormtrooper Helmet (MRCE)

Hi Guys,

my first Stormtrooper Helmet (MRCE) is now almost complete.

 

He was:

- completely sanded

- primed

- The teeth cut more

- The ears made thinner

- Three screws per ear insert

- A new metal mesh inserted

- New rubber

- New lenses (Thanks Smitty)

- New decals (Thanks TK-4510)

 

And finally, newly sprayed--------

Very nice man, and yes, totally 501st acceptable I believe! The MR CE is a good bucket for sure... especially when you "upgrade" it like you've done.

Well done! You captured the idealized look nicely! I might have considered black mesh.

Splendid job, especially on the seam...... looks perfect from what I can see.....

 

To tell you the truth, I like my MRCE, it has a solid feeling and good weight to it..... and mine is not even modded...

Maybe I'll even paint the Mesh black and age slightly. The next step is to install a Voice Amp.

Id go easy on weathering/aging. It looks great now and I think the idealized helmets looks great in a perfect paintjob.
