lawilm Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 Okay, I have the Rubies Supreme Darth Vader Costume (yeah yeah, I am working on modifying it to make it work lol).. I am wearing it this halloween... But MAN this thing is the hottest thing I have ever worn in my life! How, do I cool this bad boy off? Any Ideas without spending a fortune? I am tight on cash due to the money I have spent leading up to this halloween... Quote
GosHawk[501st] Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 Wireing up some fans in the helmet is a good start. I have also heard of some people wearing cooling vests Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 The Vaders in my garrison keep cool by using fans in the helmet and a cooling vest under the suit. Still, the nature of the suit is that you will get hot very quickly, and to date I don't know of any Vaders that can stand to be in costume for over 2 hours, the exception being a outdoors wintertime troop (for example, a Christmas or St. Patrick's Day parade). Best place for advice on all things Vader - or any other movie Sith - is the Sith Lords detachment. www.501stsithlords.com Quote
