pandatrooper[TK] Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Since gutting a Tauntaun in your kids room would be a big mess for your chilly youngling, why not get him / her a Tauntaun sleeping bag instead? http://theforce.net/latestnews/story/Kids_..._Bag_122144.asp *I love the fact that the inside of the sleeping bag liner has "intestines" screen printed on it. Is it just me, or am I the only one creeped out by that?! Quote
Obievon[501st] Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 The light saber zipper pull is the cherry on top for me. LOL Funny stuff man! Quote
NoVATie[Admin] Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 A member from Garrison Tyranus made the prototype for ThinkGeek. Wish they had one when I was a kid Quote

Agent RayBans Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) I got this about a week ago in my ThinkGeek newsletter, photos of the final product! "ThinkGeek" said: A message from Mr. F.M. Tauntaun, c/o ThinkGeek My friends in the Rebel Alliance, Remember me? The ThinkGeek April Fools Day joke, a little movie called Star Wars? Yes, it's me, the Tauntaun Sleeping Bag, and I've arrived safely at ThinkGeek HQ after a long and harrowing journey from Hoth to Jokeland to Licensingville to Realitytown. Turns out the monkeys here are even more excited about me than I was about finally being unpacked--'cause if you think I smell bad on the outside, just imagine after a long trip in a box. The attached photos might explain it better. Anyways, everybody here wants to hang out and catch up, so I'm sorry about having to make this quick. Just wanted to let you guys know that I've survived the trip and I'll keep you posted on the next phase of my saga! XOXO, First Manufactured Tauntaun Sleeping Bag P.S. Apparently you guys can compete for me by entering ThinkGeek's Halloween Pumpkin Template Contest, and you've got until 10/29/09 to submit an entry. (No Tauntaun template yet? Hmm.) ----------- Do want :!: Edited June 26, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
Nassik Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 My wife and I were eying this sleeping bag a while ago. I'm looking forward to it becoming available. I'll have to pick up a couple. Quote

Is it just me, or am I the only one creeped out by that?! Pandatrooper, it's just you. No, I am kind of a little creeped out but then I'm a scientist at heart so why not? Although, if you go to the ThinkGeek website their product features include that it is "Great for playing pretend Save Luke from the Wampa Games." Um, why do we want to save him? He destroys our Emperor, and causes the demise of Vader. We were happy until Luke came along...although I do like the built in pillow Quote
Kind Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 this is great if there is anything creepy about its the open eye stairing at you as you try to sleep Quote
