sskunky Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 I just updated the pics ( I had moved them by mistake)in the first post with the pre painted version of the face plate. I also found out it is some kind of polyurethane that milk bottles are made of too not HDPE! Quote
troopermaster Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 The plastic milk bottles are HDPE, I just checked in the fridge Quote
sskunky Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 The plastic milk bottles are HDPE, I just checked in the fridge I just asked Andrew again and he said it was a type of polypro which is similar to the milk bottle material and HDPE but paint does adhere to it better though. Quote
troopermaster Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 You mean the AA face plate is a type of PP, not HDPE? I thought you was refering to milk bottles not being HDPE Quote

I thought you was refering to milk bottles not being HDPE actually I think milk bottles do come in two different types of plastic. Good grief, I'm going to be looking at milk bottles now! we'ere going to re name this place FIMBD(First Imperial Milk Bottle Detachment) Quote
trooper18938 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Actually, I have been looking at milk bottles for some time now ever since getting that TE HDPE - which is flimsy, just like a gallon jug. We also have solid white ones here in the States, to better protect the milk from UV rays. Cut one up and form something ??? Quote
