There are time's being Canadian suck's..... Aww man -- being an ex-pat from Calgary, it hurts me to hear you say that. If you're looking for comfort and practicality over accuracy, the lining from Wilson tee-ball helmets and junior baseball helmets are AWESOME for TK lids. Just rip the liner out of the batting helmet, and install it backwards in the TK lid. Works like a charm. I can post some pictures later, if you like. eBay is crawling with cheap ones, too-- just do a search for Wilson batting helmets. I'll get you the model number as well, if you're interested. I know you can get E6000 online as well. Most online hobby stores offer it. As far as visors go-- our very own Smitty makes some very nice trooper lenses; you can even get 'em pre-curved to fit the bucket perfectly. Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Hey Steve, I bought E6000 from Michael's craft stores. I've been to the stores in Burnaby and Richmond, they both have it. Michaels also has Tandy leather snaps and tools if you need to make snaps. I'm not 100% sure on hard hat liners being sold separately, but I have seen hard hats at Home depot and Rona. I've also seen cheap hard hats and safety shields in green (visor) for sale at Princess auto. Great deals there! Quote
JSmails[501st] Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 If you have Wal-Mart in Canada you should be able to get E-6000 there in the craft section in the glues. It's almost $2 cheaper per tube than Michaels. (US dollars) Quote
