You'll like the AP Oh, and let me know about your knee pad fitting .. that piece is still a mystery to me! yeah its an AP helmet I'm going to rivet it through the upper lip on either side, then put velcro on the face of the shin to keep it away from the upper shin so it angles out away from the upper thigh so it does not catch underneath it...I hope this is not too confusing ...I will take pictures when I get a chance Quote

Just remember to turn the plate upside when sticking it to the ab plate and add the rubber trim. Don't forget to round off the top corner of the kidney plate too and use white velcro to attach the ribbed shoulder straps. Are you going to rivet the belt to the ab plate for uber accuracy? Don't forget that the ROTJ belts only have two rivets, one at each end with the centre one left out. Quote

I don't know if John is active very much on this forum since the Armor History Wars , I messeaged him about the atatchment of the shoulder straps but you answered that with velcro thanks! ...Yeah I don't know now you have me second guessing myself, the picture I have of the original armor, which I can't put up here, the four buttons that are painted "look" black...but they could also be a really really dark gray too, but I don't know I'm so confused Quote

TK8280 Posted October 12, 2007 Author Report Posted October 12, 2007 Got some much needed confirmation on the color of the AB buttons most were painted Black, but a few were painted dark blue, The Blue is darker than what was used in ANH...I do not yet know the configuration of the colors but am in the works of hopefully doing that Quote

ANH cut shoulder straps... I trimed the outer edges in this shot... and lastly I cut off the flats at either end,and there you go, Authentic ROTJ shoulder strapping ... Quote
