TK8280
The Obsession Continues... Some items that I will add to my ROTJ Armor besides the ROTJ base standards 1* A more defined cod piece...it should be angular like a "V" not rounded off like the FX cod 2* No borders on the belt plate...the belt should be clean cut top and bottom 3* No button on the center of the Belt plate such as the feature seen on FX suits this is what I have found, and there may be more details to come... * Holster details o holster is rivited to the right side of belt..DONE! o two rivets are used insted of the ANH 4..DONE! o rivets should be punhced just below the center of the belt..DONE! o Holster hangs low 6 - 7 inches from the belt..DONE! * Armor Details o Snowtrooper hand plates instead of the angular ANH ones..DONE! o All black ab plate buttons..DONE! o Molded lip around the cod and chest..DONE! o Ab plate details (button area) needs to be upside down compared to ANH standards..DONE! o Single back/butt piece, not split like ANH o Shoulder bells are rounded at the corners..DONE! o No shoulder bell straps across the biceps..DONE! o Belt should be 2.5" wide..DONE! * Helmet Details o No FX helmet..DONE! o Slate blue traps/tears instead of ANH grey..DONE! o Black frown instead of grey, and the paint should overlap the "lips"..DONE! o Lenses must be flat green or bubble green..DONE! o Brow trim should be low on helmet..DONE! o Traps/tears must be decals, no hand-painting..DONE! o Four teeth each side..DONE! o No screws on ears o Ends of frown are squared off, not tapered to points..DONE! * Blaster Details ROTJ prop replica o No ammo counter o No Hasbro o Two greeblies on the left rear area. Daetrin[Admin]
Methinks Bernard you are moving away from costuming and into the thin air of prop forgery. I can't wait to see pictures. You've definitely then taken a hobby and pushed it the outer extremes.

TK8280
Now! I have decided to trim my shoulder bells shorter...I made this decision by looking over countless ROTJ photo's and by inspecting an original ROTJ suit...So, what I am going to do is cut about 1/2" to 1" off the bottom of these oversized FX bells until they look better, cuz I don't think they will ever look perfect to me being an FX and all <_< My bells before cutting... More soon to come...stay tuned
