scratch build mg15

took a try at building a mg15.

I used TK409's measurements, and pictures for reference. I am pretty happy with the result. Not perfect, but I like it.

 

Used 2 inch, 1.5 inch, and 1 inch pvc.

couplers - between the sizes.

a toy handgun

a "Daisy" bb gun scope.

2 quart sized paint cans

NO!!!!! that looks awesome!!! granted it needs all it greeblies ( second scope, metal power cables, and all the stuff on it....) but as a base it is awesome.

WOW. now that´s a great base to start building over it!

 

easy to replicate too! great job man!

 

I think this is the gun i´ll use for my HWT. the cool thing about the MG-15 is that it has all the looks of a gun that can be used for either extreme armor piercing rapid firing or sniping.

 

that gun with a Bi-pod would look awesome!

Speaking as a gamer, I would love to see this in the next SW Battlefront III (if it ever comes out) also, is this based off any real weapons??

yep, the MG-15! there is no known name for it inside the starwars universe like the MG-34 called DLT19 in SW and the Lewis gun called T-21 in SW.

One question, is the mg15 cannon for shineys?

the MG-15 is considered a heavy weapon and used by either sandtroopers or heavy weapons troopers although being a weapon in the cache of the army i guess i can be used by any trooper. however is normally pursued that shineys use the reglamentary e-11 blaster of the pistol (forgot the name) while dirty troopers handle the big guns.

The MG-15 was given a SW designate last year,its the RT-97C but no one uses it though

No mate, just the DLT-19 / MG-34 for the shiny whites I'm afraid.

You have to make your self nice and dirty or go HWT to be able to be 100% cannon with all those other sweet BFG's
