Trooperman Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Hi , some how ive managed to get E6000 glue on some HIPS can any one advice how i can remove the glue without damaging the plastic? Quote
davej[TK] Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Just try getting under the edge of it with a scalpel, or some sort of sharp little knife. It'll just peel off in lumps. Quote
Sgt JB Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 after it's cured you can sand it off. it'll clump up, and you can just pull the clumps off. I had the same problem. Quote
darren1970[501st] Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I'm sure I've read somewhere about putting it in the fridge to make it easier to peel ( could be wrong though ) Quote
synaptyx Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 work it with your fingers once it's cured. It'll come off. Quote

I used goo-gone to get e6000 off of my FX armor and I no problems. Quote
