Warrenzo Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 Hey folks, ive started assembling my ANH TK armour and have found out that im "a little short for a stormtrooper" lol!! Here is a pic of my progress so far........as you can see my chest piece is a little low and covers my ab buttons. Is there any way of fixing this without having to cut the bottom off as this will do away with the formed ridge. The utility belt has since been attached to FBJ's canvas belt and im waiting on more velcro to go any further Quote
HPDblues[TK] Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 It is an acceptable practice to have your ab plate partially covered. However, if you must have the ab plate showing, then trim the top of the chest piece around the neck and cut the shoulder tabs shorter if don't wish to trim the bottom of the chest piece. T Quote

Murray1134[501st] Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 The masters have spoken, with far better advice than I could ever give. Might want to rotate your thighs to have the seam more towards the center. Nice to see a fellow Metallica trooper. Quote
Billhag Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 Warren Sorry for hogging your thred mate So, as you can see you have a couple of choices. You can do the BRILLIANT 'T-Guns' mod and trim the top of the chest piece around the neck and cut the shoulder tabs shorter. Or you can trim the bottom similar to what they needed to do for Mark Hamill's Here's a couple of photos and links explaining the edge return and chest trim mod on the FX http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3938 http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=2313 http://www.flickr.com/photos/stukatrooper/...57611595458544/ Lou - TK6908's brilliant work BEFORE AFTER And here's one of you Hope this as helped mate.
