Darth_Finger Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 How many suits and helmets do you have? Quote
89Batman[TK] Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 You both look great!! How are you liking it?? I still think it is the best you can get personally. I have been trooping mine for about three months or so now and love it! Out of curiosity why did you go with the DL lid and not the TM? Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 I love this armour the more i have worked on it the more i have found out the suit is insanely accurate. It has been a real joy to work and build. I have this armour and my fx and about 6 helmets at the moment, i still need to build my tm helmet hence why i used the dan laws today. I also have another dl helmet kit just arrived with me here last week thas i also need to build. Quote
TKDUEUNO Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Awesome TM there, Fbj!! From the last three pics with both armors you can really see how the DL helmet is "squished" and tall... one of the reasons why I still don't like it... So Pete, your TM is finished too! I've been checking your flickr page for updates everyday! Quote
BFA Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Nice pics FBJ , You have far too many helmets , best send me some Quote

firebladejedi[TK] Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 Who wants to see some of the finer details? I have glued on the shoulder straps Painted the ab plate buttons, humbrol #14 french blue and humbrol #5 dark admiralty grey And riveted the thigh ammo pack on the right leg Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 This is the new way for strapping arms to me. Notice all 3 parts are connected together. Also having the arms seperate from the rest of the armour makes it easer to get dressed and you can take off the main body suit and leave the arms on if you need to. I am using 1 inch black elastic in a continual piece holding the bells and biceps and then on the inside of the elbow a 2 inch piece of black elastic holds up the forearms. 3/4 inch black elastic is glued to the bottom edge of the bell to keep them in place.
