lordvader1974[501st] Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) My good buddy CAP is doing a "final" signature series run of helmets before he takes a long break from the hobby and I was lucky enough to get in on the run. I'm the proud owner of #3. He pulled these from high gloss HIPS that he had shipped in from Europe somewhere b/c it isn't available here in the States. Here are the pics of my new baby: Hope you guys like it! Edited February 8, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photos updated gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
bobby fletcher Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Take pictures from 6 feet back with natural lighting to catch how glossy the CAP sig series plastic is. Quote
Amish Trooper Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I got your 6 feet... That is if only measured 12 times...lol Helmet looks nice. Quote

Sorry folks, no matter what your stand point may be regarding Chris and his work, I defy anybody not to say that this isn't one sweet helmet Edited February 8, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
lordvader1974[501st] Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 Nice lid! I need to work on the wife to get her to take pics for me outside in natural light (I'm HORRIBLE as a photog and she has a degree in it). These photos do not show the glossy shine of the glossy hips that CAP used. NO paint job can compare and these pics just don't do it justice. Quote

I was the lucky one to get the 1st CAP "prototype" Signature bucket. Here's a pic of it next to my eFX Hero. Love that shine! =========== Edited February 8, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
SWhite Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Crazy how bad it makes the eFX look when they are put up next to each other. Beautiful helmets, both of you. -Sean Quote
Turrican Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Very nice Helmet. I like the Cap helmets. Look's very sharp-cut in detail. Quote
TK-7980 Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 So from what I gather is, the CAP helmets are not even painted white? Just the detailing minus tube stripes? Quote
Chefhawk[501st] Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Very nice Helmet, very sharp and shiney. cheers Quote
Scootch[TK] Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Yeah they're pulled in Glossy plastic. Soon as I sell my Glossy TE I'm gonna try to get one of these, they're freakin spectacular! Quote
