tk-1842
I received my FX lite yesterday and I'm a little confused as to the widths and lengths of elastic to use. The instructions were somewhat vauge. Anyone have any ideas?

Daetrin[Admin]
I got some 1" stretchy strapping material from the local fabric store and did a snap system. I tried 2" straps but to me they're too wide for all but going over the shoulders.
Murray1134[501st]
Trial and error, and all the great info on here. It really helped me to do test fittings with tape.
tk-1842
Do the top ribbed pieces that connect the chest and back plates need to be positioned a certain way for elite status? Or can I position them to fit my body more?
dougefresh
Phil-- for Elite status, they just need to be glued to the chest, with no rivets showing... they're not attached at the back; they just float freely, held down with little cords of elastic. The physical shoulder connection between the chest and back plate is done with white webbing, or elastic.
tk-1842
So I would just velcro the plastic straps to the top of the elastic straps then?
Murray1134[501st]
So I would just velcro the plastic straps to the top of the elastic straps then? I'd say it's better if they are attached to the chest plate and the elastic straps are seperate.
