Matthew Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Thanks for the tips...I just found Testors paints at "Michael's" here in Michigan... Quote
rapstertee Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 I simply sprayed my TD canister with grey primer - after all it wasn't painted in 1977, they used standard british pvc pipe, which comes in a mid-grey very close to that of the humbrol grey. looks fine. Quote

But some say its #48, they used as for the tube stripes. What was used, the 14 or the 48. Seems like some ANH helmets, was also painted whit #15 and not only the ab plate. Cheers mate http://www.tonybarnett.plus.com/anhref.html Quote

Ghost - Scott, did a comparison a while ago and the general consensus was that Humbrol #14 looked the closest Heres the link;- http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3962&hl= Hope this as helped mate Quote

TK6540UKG Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Don't worry about the helmet not matching the armour... they didn't match in the movies !! My MRCE is done in Halfords Applicance White, and the armour has a reddish tint... hardly noticable TBH. Quote
