gjw
the sten gun was never ment for that, on the sten if you do that it will cause it to jam and get loose after a couple clips I heard the same was true of the Sterling and that both should be held by the barrel shrowd. And my 4-year-old who LOVES everything Star Wars couldn't even sit through the Holiday Special. My wife and I were very thankful for that. TK bondservnt[501st]
as soon as I saw this when it aired back in the day.. I thought it was a sign that JIM HENSON's ideas had penetrated GL's head... then I knew it would produce somthing like lame wookie family oriented stuff... THEN THE EWOK! and finally THE GUNGAN! ok... even if you make it to puppet senator... you still look better frozen in carbonite I tried to watch it again on youtube... and I stopped it at the very beginning. could not even make it past the wookie rendering, and the kid eating a piece of jerky was about where I hit the stop button. regards
Dargas[501st]
every time I try to watch it I find myself mysteriously teleported thru time and space to an hour later somewhere else doing something completely out of anything stwarwarish in concept like for example playing with my xbox or something with no recollection whatsoever of the last hour.... strange isn´t it? littledragon88[TK]
A small update on this thread. Here's a couple of pictures from the Oscars '77 featuring a couple of grainy (but RARE!) shots of the original screen used ANH Vader and Stormtrooper (Hero and one stunt) and the princess outfit. Anyone know where to get a copy of the Oscar show of 77? I'd love to see it! The award for Best Costume Design goes to...John Mollo!
