samskara Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I wanted to acquire accurate neck trim for my helmet and wanted to see what people suggest. I would be willing to sacrafice a little accuracy if there is something pretty close available at Lowe's or Home Depot. Quote

I would be willing to sacrafice a little accuracy if there is something pretty close available at Lowe's or Home Depot. I used the stuff from here : Webers Pump . The part is the RG102. I bought 6 feet to make sure I had enough in case I messed up. It's only $2 a foot and they ship very quickly! Quote

Nairod Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Here two pictures of a comparison between Webers rubber trim (on the right) and TM's rubber trim. Webers is smaller. TM's trim isn't the most accurate (because not square as the original) but very close!!!! Quote
riveting Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I cant see the picky's is it just me? Quote
TK-1287 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I'd order 2' to be safe, however, I ordered 6' and they sent me 8', haha. Once I put together my bucket, I'll just give away the leftovers. Quote
