Frown and Vocoder

Before my helmet arrives, I was wondering what the recommended colour for the ESB helmet frown and vocoder were? I kind of like the flat black colour, but what is more accurate? Should I go with a semi-gloss?

I used semi-gloss of my ESB TE2, I also used it on my ANH TE2 as well.

Went ahead and purchased a few bottles of flat black paint, but I forgot to clarify if I should use enamels or acrylics? I'd assume the enamels because they wouldn't chip as much.

 

What do you guys use?
