As part of the work on our web hosting we are moving the domain to a new registrar. This has been requested and when it happens may cause a period of down time.

I will update once this is completed.

Thanks for the update, Chris.

I experienced FISD to be somewhat slow since a few days (end of last week) and hoped this was only caused by the work in the background.
However, the problem is still present. Not sure if this was discussed or even mentioned somewhere else?! But I am not the only one.
Any info on that?

Thanks in advance.

There is a general problem in that we've out grown our current server. Work on a replacement has started but is being done as time is available. @Locitus has also suggested we add Cloudflare in front of our systems after the transfer is completed. This should help lighten the load on the server and so help keep things smooth.

Needless to say, once Chris and the Web team have finished the transfer off of the Legion server, many of the woes we are suffering will disappear.

This new server and associated components are being built to more than suit our needs. Custom baby, custom 😁

Just wanted to say the forums have been super smooth for me since the update. Before each page took 3-5s to load now it's almost instant. Great behind the scenes work from what I can tell

Sadly not super smooth for me.  Most pages are long to load if they load at all.  I usually need to make repeat visits throughout the day to find a window of time where I can actually access for forum.

We're still on the old server, a new one is being worked on. Until we're moved over the service will continue to have good days and bad ones.  We also have a plan in place to help reduce the load further but will want to get the new box up and running first.

What was changed was where the the whitearmor.net url lives and who owns that.
