I got my dlt-19 in the mail last week and was wondering if you guys think the blaster is approvable as is or does it need some more work.

Sorry i ment basic approval for the blaster itself.

Basic approval is done by your GML rather than us. From what I can see here it looks like it should be okay but I’ll state I’m not a DLT expert. There’s no obviously big problems. Maybe a tad bright on the wear in a few places but that’s easy enough to dial down. 
 

I can’t tell how itnwas made but I can’t see any obvious print lines or anything like that in year images. 
 

Best bet is to have a chat with your GML and then go from there.

What size would you say the wire is?

There is no actual size listed, I went to the local hardware and eyeballed against screen reference, was 13 years ago so I can't recall the size sorry.
