Hello,  I'm currently building my first New Hope TK armour, hopefully to film accuracy spec. 

Can you tell me how to contact an Armourer to help me progress?

Hello and welcome. You could reach out to troops in your local area, also if in the UK head to their forum https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/

 

On our forum you could start a build thread, great way to get feedback and questions answered

Also for adding photos many of us use a free online image host as the forum only allows a few attachments

Hello Richard, and welcome to this crazy awesome hobby! Most of all welcome to whitearmor!

 

I'd suggest looking through the list of Attachés to see if you have one in your area - if not then the closest one can for sure help you get started at least!

 

I concur with Glen, going to the UK Garrison forum would also be good!

Hi Rich, for an armourer you will need to head over to the UK Garrison https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/forum/  You'll need to do this to get clearance, as you Live in Wales you'd fall under our jurisdiction.  The team over there will help get you up and running.

 

For other questions please do feel free to hang around, and once you've done your initial clearance please check out our level 2 (Expert Infantry) and 3 (Centurion) clearance programs.

Reach out to those in the local area but most definitely start a build thread here on the FISD. You'll be able to get loads of feedback from people who have been where you are and help to  answer questions.  Plus  you'll get guidance on parts you may not have considered.  There is a wealth of information on here.
