SenseiFetter Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Greetings from a future member in-process. I purchased a set of WTF ANH armor from its previous owner and will be joining a build party in two weeks. Did a test fit a couple days ago and lost my freakin' mind when I looked in the mirror. 7 year-old me thought it was the coolest thing ever! I've read a lot of good advice in the forums over the past few months and made specific purchases to make my trooping easier. A little about me personally. I'm an AEMT and work in the ER in Sacramento. Been a volunteer in Search and Rescue for 14 years and studied martial arts for 30 years. Looking forward to taking orders from Vader... 4 Quote
Nairy[Staff] Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Hello Craig and welcome to the forum! Thank you for the lovely introduction - we've all lost our freakin' minds at one point or another, totally get you there! Congratulations on taking the first steps into this crazy hobby! It's fun all the way, right at the beginning and when you do your first troop, and even 100 troops later when you just make people happy everywhere you go! Looking forward to seeing your progress as we go along! Don't be a stranger, start a build thread when you've had your build party so we can follow the progress! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ It sounds great and that you're already navigating the forum and doing your reserach! If you haven't seen it already, here is a great thread to get you started: Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted October 31 Report Posted October 31 Welcome aboard Craig! We have some very helpful members in Cali, hopefully you meet some of them at the upcoming armor party. Definitely the best way to get help if you need any resizing or strapping adjustments done. Good luck with it all, and hope to see you as an approved TK in the near future. 1 Quote
JBar[TK] Posted October 31 Report Posted October 31 I know that feeling! And guess what, that feeling hasn't left me after 15 troops. It's so cool to be the iconic stormtrooper. Kids and families love it too. I also have a Walt kit. If you have any fitting questions let us know! Hope to see your around and welcome Quote
