So I jumped into this with no clue as to what i was doing. Its fully 3d printed. I learned so much making this. I'm giving this to my little cousin and starting over real soon.

A good tip when masking areas is to use a good painters tape, just seals a little better, also if you paint white first that will fill any areas which may seep under the tape, then paint your black over the top

I saw the tip to hit it with a matt clear coat to seal off under the tape.
