Slouch[TK] Posted September 19 Report Posted September 19 Can confirm BrenTK was a tremendous help in completing my ANH Stunt TK build (TK70384). Having never attempted any type of costuming, Brent was incredibly generous is not only helping me with my build, but teaching me the correct build methods and also the level of detail to strive towards in our builds. Brent couldn't have been more helpful and really epitomises what the 501st is all about - Troopers helping Troopers - and really imparted his years of experience to a complete novice. With my newfound skills, I've been able to modify/adjust my kit on my own and am ready for my next kit. If it wasn't for Brent, I'd still be staring at an unbuilt kit, OR (more likely) a ruined kit. Thanks again!
TKSithspit[TK] Posted September 19 Report Posted September 19 I can confirm that Brent assisted me over the course of several days with my ESB TK build (74377). He heard that I was struggled with some aspects of the build and kindly offered to give his time to help. He put in numerous hours of advice during the build and gave me great confidence to get it completed. Even after my TK was approved, he has continued to offer assistance if I ever have any issues I have wearing my TK. I wholeheartedly recommend Brent for what’s he’s done.
WARMACHINE[TK] Posted September 19 Report Posted September 19 Brent assisted me with the completion of my ANH Stunk TK, from sizing up the armour, to trimming, assembly and even painting. Brents wealth of knowledge of the TK armour helped so much as this was my first time tackling TK armour. After many catchups at Brent’s place, we eventually completed the armour and got it approved to a basic level. After working with Brent on this project and seeing his experience go to work, I can 100% recommend him.
Dragon_a[TK] Posted September 19 Report Posted September 19 Happy to confirm Brent was a big help with my ANH stunt helmet build
Firehazzard[TK] Posted September 19 Report Posted September 19 Brent was a huge help, basically building my TK from start to finish. He was excellent guidance for me on the parts I contributed to but without him I would still be trying to work out what goes where. He is the guru for TK builds in Knightfall Garrison. in addition, Brent has helped me on numerous occasions with repairs/improvements to my TK plus also for my ANH Vader.

darth_trayolphia[TK] Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 Without Brent’s help and support, I would have been unable to rejoin the legion after being rendered inactive after ‘the plague’ had lost contact with many in legion, and missed a census, hadn’t trooped as a number of individually minor but collectively noticeable elements of wear and tear from trooping had begun to develop. im sadly one of those ‘put it on and troop’ type of members, as opposed to the ‘good with their hands and good at crafts’ types…so I was unable to make any of my own repairs owing largely to F.O.F.U. (F.O.M.O.’s annoying cousin). brent was not only highly knowledgeable in techniques relevant to costume construction and maintenance, also showed exemplary patience in dealing with someone with moderate social anxiety.
