Hello Alexandre,

Your armour looks great and other than some minor dressing issues, I feel it will be good for basic approval. My only concern that you may come across with approval could be the degree of weathering,  The CRL calls for light scuffing or battle worn.  Your armour appears to be more weathered than most I have seen but ultimately it will be up to your GML to decide if it is too weathered or not.

With respect to dressing, your left shin is not closed completely at the back and your right shin is sitting a bit high.  With the red shin and white velcro for closure, the opening becomes much more obvious as compared to all white TK's.  With your right shin up slightly, it highlights the colour difference from wear on your boot.  Some have used velcro on the front of the boot to hold the shin in place.

Your forearms cold also come up slightly to make the gap between the biceps and forearm the same as the gap between the forearm and hand plate. Your left side looks good, the right needs slight adjustment.

Thanks for your reply @Doggydoc and for your time in my review :) highly appreciated

theses elements highlighted apears to be mainly dressings issues correct ?

regarding : the right hand forearm (your right) it’s too low I had to put it a bit higher

and regarding the Velcro and high / gap of the leg (I’ve attached other picture on the link below but yeah had to put it on alone…) I’ve fold my right leg a bit on all pictures as I did not adjusted it properly during my try and it was annoying me .. sorry for that

about the weathering I’ve got your point but I’ve taken as reference build here in the forum and it appears that there is some with a good weathering to (attached in the previous link a pictures of our brother @zv288bot and his Shocktrooper) and indeed mine is a bit heavier I agree with you but still not a sandy 😅 (at least not as mine)

the build I am talking about

Except theses “dressing elements” and I have to apologies for that as dressing alone is always such a journey especially with a new armor… and I guess also the fact that my neck seal is unfortunately not properly put on the inside of the armor (cf back picture) do you see any major element to review to process with a validation request ?

and again : thanks for your time and help in this :) highly appreciated again

The belt should be made from nylon/cordura or nylon/cordura-like material.

From the TK Shock Trooper CRL:

  • The soft belt proper is tightly woven nylon/cordura like/style material or material with a tightly woven nylon/cordura like/style covering. Size must be 2.25" (57mm) to 2.5" (64mm) wide. The color is to be white to off-white.

Yes, they are just dressing issues and should be easily fixed.  Not sure if you have elastic between your biceps and forearms, but that helps a lot with spacing.
I totally understand the dressing alone issues.

Yes I do (below picture)

the only elastic I don’t have because it’s not required on the ROTJ style are the one that are around the biceps and the shoulder bells .(and I had to say they are useful on my other Tk and TD)

what I will do is in a close future during a trooping I’ll ask to one of my garrison brother to do picture with me and will review and post everything here

again, many thanks for your valuable feedback which are highly appreciated
