Hoping for basic currently, but have full intentions to pursue EIB and Centurion before the end of the year. In the interest of saving money, I am waiting a few months.

Looking good, just need a couple of small tweaks to really take it to the next level

Helmet is tilted and not central to the armor

I would try to even out the gaps between elbow/bicep and the front of the forearms, just makes for a better appearance.

Try to get your cover strips straight front on.

Looks like you may be rotating your arms in, perhaps to reduce the gap at the shoulder bells, this pushes the shoulder bells away at the top of the shoulders, may need some tighter strapping, many double over elastic.

i1AshGF.thumb.jpg.85dc268c54f32809ce4e55eede406b20.jpg

Back, helmet on slant and not central.

You could trim the extra belt material if you wished to.

There doesn't seem to be much overlap from the shoulder straps to the backplate, your GML may ask for closer photos.

Closure of calves not quite straight and small gap between (more for EIB)

nCI4G2f(1).thumb.jpg.aa0e15b8e9784dc10426e69cbaa3334e.jpg

For EIB make sure your ab/kidney align at the top, they will move when you move but you can adjust between photos.

Puw6kky.thumb.jpg.642044e2c1b6f2703cb60dc8d9044805.jpg

You also have your belt/holster caught up on the left side

Y5v1CAJ.thumb.jpg.61a68964533be79c1e6bd12696b45b23.jpg

On the helmet side, tube stripes for L2:

  • Ideally, the tube stripes are positioned approximately a pencil width from the side of the cheek.

Yours appear to have a bigger gap at the back.

0WA3uLe.thumb.jpg.ac76a2de5b8e931c2072c1ceb82281cb.jpg

A few things for L2 on the rear traps, they are a little more rounded on your helmet than references.

Also the stripes sit a little lower and not quite as long.

4X0UrJE(1).thumb.jpg.8be3af0c4f9382c73e4ce21dd91cff1a.jpg

Did you countersink your ear screws?, they just look to be pulling an a little high

UuE1E08.thumb.jpeg.0f46f4cdd378e736aa116be504b9f07f.jpeg

For L2 make sure there is no paint on the gums and try to straighten the tops of the vocoder

You could bring up your belt just a touch (I know you've adjusted it a couple of times ;) )

The top of the ABS belt shall sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical ab button panels.  A slight overlap is suggested, but not required

8XAwYOf.jpg?1  Nvimd6R.jpg?1  N8trEfM.jpg?1

Can't remember if we talked about your large ab plate previously, can't see from your images but you may have over trimmed the base, should have a flat area at the base.

 LSuei4K.jpg?1   JViLwBX.jpg?1

Also try to have well lit photos, a few areas a little hard to see like the bottom of vocoder and hovi's. GML's (GWL's) love a contrasting background ;)

I don't think you will have much trouble for base approval but that's dependent on your GML, for higher levels definitely a few tweaks :duim:

These are some great tips above. I expect your GML will be happy to approve you for basic and you're well on your way to L2/3!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I BELIEVE I have made all the necessary edits. The one things I am still struggling with is the distance between the shoulder bells and chest. I cannot get them to be any closer. I have trimmed the belt, straightened out my legs and arms, made the distance between both forearms and biceps equidistant, helmet is straight, kindney and ab have been lined up, the holster is no longer poking out. I have included a closeup of the ab, but have not replaced the buttons. I have taken, what I hope to be, better lit photos of the helmet. I have not changed anything with paint however. Here are the photos:

Well, there we go! I would like to reiterate that I am certain I will apply for higher levels before the end of the year. Certain items I am not fixing at the moment in an attempt to save some money. With that said, I believe that ant changes that can be made only prevent me from entering higher levels (Ab button, larger shoulders). Please let me know what you think! If all goes well, I will submit to my local GML for approval!

Nothing is standing out to me for basic approval. I think your GML will be happy to review your. Excited for your updates!

Hey all, good news...

TK-72103 reporting for duty!

I could not possibly be more excited. This is a group ive wanted to join since middle school, so finally being able to say im a member feels like a huge accomplishment!

So, now I believe I need to request access to the member specific forums on this site. Im having a bit of a problem though. I am showing up as an active member in the Text Only Member Roster, but not in the ones with the photos, as requested in the approval forum, so im wondering if I can have some help.

Hey! Thanks for the response. Yes, I need to submit the link, but what I mean is that the member search is not working for me. I cant find my profile. The only results that show are the ones on the screenshot I sent. There is no link for me to grab unfortunately.

Congratulations Carter. Welcome to the ranks.

This is the only link I can find to the member search, and it is simply a result, nowhere for me to search for my name or TKID

That's so exciting!!! We all know the feeling well. You should be very proud of what you built. I'm not too far in the NYC Empire City Garrison. Maybe there will be some troops together. If you happen to be at New York Comic Con in a week or two we'd love to meet you!
