Colin Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 I'm new and got a partially completed first order kit that needs it's thermal detonator painted white and the black dots on the chest plate painted as well as some yellowish guess removed or covered on the chest plate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Really depends on your budget and what can be sourced in your area. Personally I use automotive acrylic paints, dries very quickly and the clear can be sanded and polished for a deep shine. Can also have automotive paint made at some auto shops, here is the color code to match the Anovos/DN helmet shade of white Another paint some used was Rust-Oleum 2X Painter's Touch Gloss White a cheaper alternative to automotive paint. Lots of threads on paint the in the FOBG area, here are just a few As for the black I have always used decals/stickers but I would recommend using a satin black 1 Quote
MaskedVengeance[Staff] Posted September 5 Report Posted September 5 Hi Colin! I hope your FO build is going well! If you need further assistance, definitely create a build thread in the FO Battle Group area, where you can post photos and dive into any questions you may have. We love seeing FOTK builds! You can then also receive feedback on parts that you're in need of acquiring, and direction on vetted supplies (per your other post seeking approvable components). Quote
