bobojuice Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Plastidip works fairly well on stuff but be aware that it might peel off. I used it for Olga's centurion since we couldn't find gloves to fit her and while it stayed on pretty well, once it started peeling the entire thing came off in almost one piece. Quote
troopermaster Posted March 9, 2012 Author Report Posted March 9, 2012 I'll start a for sale thread when I have got made up. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Nice! I'll consider buying some for my collection! Karin Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 hey paul, ever considered mixing in acrylic paint into the latex and then pour it into the mould? or are you just going SA and painting the latex? I wouldn't think that plasti dip would work. Quote
MartinSivertsen[501st] Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I can't imagine Paul doing anything other than SA... ;-) Quote
troopermaster Posted March 16, 2012 Author Report Posted March 16, 2012 Never considered it Vern and I have no intentions of doing it either. As Martin says, screen accurate all the way Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 This is great work Paul - and very well done. We've seen the end of plastic belts in the Legion, I wonder if this starts the tipping point where rigid plastic hand guards also go the same way. We've come a long way in 6 years... Quote
troopermaster Posted March 16, 2012 Author Report Posted March 16, 2012 Thanks Paul Let's hope more sceen accurate parts become popular. I would love to see at least a full squad of troops all wearing flexible, accurate armour with original strapping, latex hand plates, painted boots, khaki PP helmets painted white.....oh a dream come true Quote
Sonnenschein Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Paul and Paul, I agree with you both totally Oh, Paul you forgot flexible latex neck seals... gotta get off my ....you know what Quote
