Buttons for the ab plate

I read somewhere, people use thumbtacks and all other kinds of stuff. is it possible? even if you color them the right color? what size are the buttons anyway? is just better to buy the correct size buttons from Vaderdave? I am just getting ideas. thanks

I would just buy them from VaderDave. I did and they look great and a very inexpensive upgrade.

Hi this problem only effects fx users as the standard buttons supplied are too big. They are 15mm snaps and most mods bring them down to 10-11mm or there abouts.

 

Anything can be used, drawing pins, smaller snaps etc..

FYI I sent a ping to Mr. FX suggesting he upgrade his kits. With luck - this may happen in the future and they'll just come this way.

I sell decals for the more accurate sets ( TE, TE2, AP, etc.) for the AB plates. They match the helmets gray and blue too...
