TheLoneRanger[501st] Posted February 2 Author Report Posted February 2 Still working on the undersuit, been in contact with Sheev’s Emporium and Darkside Closet. Ordered today the trim for the armor and the MP40 pouch. That should settle everything for accessories (sans backpack, still working on that.) I’m making a 3D printable backpack from scratch so once that’s ready and I have it printed, I’ll share the file here so everyone can use it. 2 Quote

That would be very kind of you, looking forward to seeing the end result, "troopers helping troopers" Quote
TheLoneRanger[501st] Posted February 3 Author Report Posted February 3 The ammo pouch and the armor trim have arrived! The pouch is gray in color because while looking at the game model, I saw weathered bits of gray and thought taking a gray pouch and darkening/weathering it is the best route. Stay tuned! 1 Quote
TheLoneRanger[501st] Posted February 4 Author Report Posted February 4 Well well, lookie here. After doing some research and finding an old thread on the MEPD, this looks familiar! The BF2 pack appears to be the same as the ANH SE Sandtrooper pack in some shots. An interesting development… 3 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Finally caught up on this thread. Quite the mashup between costume parts and time periods, but an awesome looking character nonetheless. This will be an exciting build, and I am very much looking forward to seeing you progress through it. The game reference shots are outstanding and super detailed, removing some of the guess work, which is very beneficial indeed. As you get into the build and details, I can set up the wiki doc (platform document to create a CRL) so it is ready to go for fleshing out the details, and eventually your photos of all the components. Great research so far, keep it up. Quote

TheLoneRanger[501st] Posted February 19 Author Report Posted February 19 After scrutinizing the helmet for a little too long, I’ve determined the best route to go is to get an ROTJ helmet. The in game helmet matches an ROTJ helmet, just cleaned up nicely and made to look a bit more symmetrical. I spent way too long going over every detail and comparing angles, symmetry, decals…. ^ ROTJ helmet for comparison 3 Quote

I'd go with a full ROTJ kit and use that as the base! Quote

I’ve got an AM kit coming that will be made into an ROTJ suit, I’ve got the trim in hand and everything to convert it. I’ve sent Sskunky a message to inquire about a helmet kit. Hoping to hear back from them soon! 2 Quote

TheLoneRanger[501st] Posted February 20 Author Report Posted February 20 To add a bit of discussion here: Weapons. I know they’re optional but since they ‘complete the look’ per se, what should the optional weapons be? The page for the Heavy Stormtrooper says ”The Heavy Stormtrooper is the Heavy class for the Galactic Empire in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. They wield the DLT-19 Heavy Blaster as their default primary weapon. Heavy Stormtroopers can also wield the DC-15LE heavy repeating blaster, the FWMB-10K heavy repeating blaster, and the TL-50 heavy repeating blaster, like all Heavy units.” Should we include all these as optional weapons to carry? And the Sentry ability lets you wield a Z-6 Rotary Cannon so that could be counted as a weapon too. 1 Quote

I think the blasters will all be optional accessories ofc at basic, but for EI and Centurion maybe one could claim that the DLT-19 is the primary weapon since the text says so? Quote
