Helmet lining help.

I'm trying to line my helmet, I'm using some black neoprene liner, but unfortunately, it is a pain to separate the foam from the adhesive and it does not line up properly inside the helmet, as it doesnt flex or curve well. What are some good alternatives?

Have you considered painting the inside black?

 

Just another option, all the lids I've ever owned just had the star leaf foam & a balaclava.

It probs would yield a better finish than neoprene, and be gapless. Thanks for the suggestion.

Painting is what most of us do, although a few have covered the insides
