Hey everyone!  After months of lurking and data mining these wonderful forums I ordered a commission build from Authentic Props.

Turn around time was a surprisingly quick 5 and half weeks.

I was pretty sure it would still need some tweaks and adjustments to fit "just right" but was pleasantly surprised how well everything fit.

What I've identified to adjust.

Trim return edge and heat form the ab plate to fit a little closer. this should allow the chest plate to overlap.

Shorten shoulder to bicep straps, to get proper overlapping.

Trim return edges/tops of thighs to be able to bring them up a little further.

I think that should cover my needs for basic approval.

I also plan to redo the sniper knee attachment to get it perfect.

Replace hovi tips and helmet seal with lvl 2/3 appropriate versions.

I'm pretty sure that'll cover basic and EI levels.  And most importantly my preference.

The linked pic is directly out of the box, and my very 1st time suiting up.

obviously all suggestions are welcome.

Looking good, appears you have highlighted most of your issues.

Tighter strapping should help the chest to pull over the ab plate, I wouldn't heat unless you have had practice, ABS can go from pliable to molten mess in the blink of an eye.

I would bring your brow trim up a little, most low brow's are Hero versions, with Stunt's being a lot higher.

FYI a blaster is needed for L2 EIB approval and above

Good luck and hope to see you approved very soon

Congrats Erik; you look great for your first kit-up, and it’s awesome to see that you’ve already identified those adjustments you mentioned! Just a quick question: how tall are you? I ask in regards to the ab/chest overlap you mentioned. I can’t help but wonder if you can either raise your ab or lower the chest, or if heat forming would really be necessary.

Once again, looking good, sir!

I'm 6'1" so I stretching the limits of fit.

The ab plate where if curves around the right side is definitely a sharper angle than left and sticks out a little.

I'm going to try trimming the return edges and adjust the strapping before I goto heat forming.

It's really close to fitting right until I move then the chest pops up on the right side and the return edges catch each other keeping the chest from sliding over.

Oh and  I have a Blaster Factory E11 on order.  Hence not in the picture.

Thanks for the input folks.
