RS Prop ANH Stunt Helmet Tear Down Help

I need to take the helmet apart so I can have better accessibility, I'm not sure if these are buttons or rivets that cannot be removed, does anyone have experience with taking the helmet apart?

Those are pop rivets. Hold that part with pliers (not the washer) and drill them out from the other side, or sometimes you can clip the bulb at the end there off with side cutters.

Don't rush, heat can build up if you drill too fast, nice and slow and make sure not to loose your grip on the rivet as spinning can also cause heat.

If you have some strong wire cutters that can fit in that area you could also potentially snip them instead of drilling, it all depends on the area you have to work with and if the tool is strong enough.
