Getting started on an ANH stunt TK. This will be my sixth build since joining the 501st and my second OT trooper build (did a TD in 2017).  Pics incoming.

Armor: Walt's Trooper Factory

Neckseal: Homemade (complete)

Undersuit: Extreme Racing

Gloves: Trooper Bay

Belt: Homemade (complete)

Holster: Homemade (complete)

Balaclava: Homemade (complete)

Boots: Imperial Boots (waiting on a run)

Blaster: ?? (likely 850 Armorworks)

Audio: IComm audio unit and Aker amp

Fasteners and bracket set

Going the hook route for the shin strapping since it worked well on the TD.

Nothing better than a BBB, hopefully you have researched while you waited ;)

Preferably that they are done on the plastic and not your hand.

have been busy with cutting, sanding and forming and rigging the past few days. I'm on leave this week and plan to finish up with as much as I can until the rest of my stuff comes in. The dome portion of the helmet was damaged during shipment and the belt face was missing, so I'm waiting on that. I ordered an E-11 from 850 Armorworks yesterday, and the next run of Imperial Boots isn't until August, so we'll be at a standstill for a bit.

Some pics in the meantime:

A few more pictures of progress. Mostly finished with helmet assembly. Very happy with the ears in the back on both sides, but the right front was giving me a lot of trouble.

Side note: Halfway tempted to convert this into a sand trooper just so I don't have to worry about those shoulder straps and painting those pesky trap and tear stripes...

Shims, because I like ice cream:

Front right. Is that gap too big?

Just a tip but if you use white elastic for the shins it isn't as noticeable if the accidently open and the elastic is seen ;)

White is also screen accurate

Looking good. Agree on the elastic, but hey, that’s not a hard fix if you ever choose to do it.

A few updates:

- Finished construction, submitted and was approved in mid-November :peace:

- Replaced the black elastic in the shins with white. Thanks for the suggestions!

- Trimmed excess neck gaiter after submission since it was sticking out from under the chest plate

- Still making adjustments here and there. I replaced the padding in the bucket with a hard hat liner and it fits my narrow but long head much better since the TK helmet is so wide.

- I feel like something is a little off with the shoulder bells. They were originally rigged with elastic on the lower shoulder straps, but I replaced the elastic with webbing and positioned them almost touching the ABS shoulder straps. I have fairly broad shoulders, but they don't seem to be falling how I'd like them to. Any observations? Thinking about taking the biceps in a touch to see if the shoulder bells will fall more naturally.

Thanks!

Congratulations trooper, you can request higher access here

A few items for L2/L3

Drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt, not the corners

Shoulder bells do need to come inwards, not sure if you have strapping from the bells to the biceps?

Should be no paint on the gums Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area.

Tighter strapping may be needed between your chest and abdomen

Vocoder needs cleaning up a bit.

Reduce gaps at the elbows

I'd probably trim the excess of the neck see as it's seen between shoulder bells and chest

Shoulder strap on back left not sitting on the back plate

Ab kidney shims should be straight, not on an angle

Posterior is being pushed backwards, tighter strapping or perhaps some V tabs

Blaster has some blemishes, mainly on the barrel

You could fill the gap in the bottom thigh ridge.

Also make sure your shins are completely closed

Detonator control panel appears to be on an angle on the left. Also could rotate the detonator to show more of the O detail
