I'm not aware of any discussion on color here on the forum, perhaps do a search in one of the FB groups

As per my response in the build thread,

 

Not yet.

various angles and lighting show many different shades, so unless we get some behind the scenes info from the costume builder, we will probably go with the most commonly seen gray across the limited scenes.

This doesn't mean that can't or wont get updated as more info comes to light.
