gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 24, 2023 Report Posted March 24, 2023 Nice work trooper, if you have any issues with adding images many of us us Imgur a free image host, upload there then copy and past the "direct link" of the images straight into your thread. 2 Quote
TKSpartan[Staff] Posted March 24, 2023 Report Posted March 24, 2023 Hi James, thank you for your EIB application. Meanwhile you add the remaining photos , your applications is added to the processing line. One of us will be with you as soon as possible. 1 Quote
MintImperial[TK] Posted March 25, 2023 Author Report Posted March 25, 2023 (edited) Thanks Mario. I can’t add any more. The system makes me downsize the images to a greater and greater degree with every upload. I now have only 39k left for all other images. Can I just add links with full-size previews as I did with my basic submission rather than uploading? Edited March 25, 2023 by MintImperial Quote

To post all the photos, you need a free image host(like imgur). 1 Quote

Replacing my uploads with links now. Edited March 25, 2023 by MintImperial 1 Quote
Chemi[Staff] Posted March 29, 2023 Report Posted March 29, 2023 Hi James. While we are working on your request, we need you to correct the TD position, as it is currently one of the requirements for L1. L1-The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap. You may be able to fix it easily if you move the TD a little bit away from its supports. In addition, the TD will be at the same height as the canvas belt, which is more screen accurate. Reference images An easy fix, James. I think your armor looks great, and won't need much more work. Best regards and thanks for your patience. 2 Quote
MintImperial[TK] Posted March 30, 2023 Author Report Posted March 30, 2023 Thanks Chemi. I’ll get right to work on that. 1 Quote

MintImperial[TK] Posted April 3, 2023 Author Report Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) I saw a comment on Sherry’s EIB submission about ab plate buttons, so I’ve trimmed down my 4-button plate to be closer to the reference accordingly. Hope this looks a bit better. Am also posting this link into the relevant photo section above. Edited April 3, 2023 by MintImperial 3 Quote

Chemi[Staff] Posted April 4, 2023 Report Posted April 4, 2023 Hi James, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Thank you for your patience, James. The armor looks spectacular! As you can see, a few details and it will be ready for Centurion. It appears that Velcro or glue traces can be seen on the calves. If it is Velcro, maybe closing the calves a little more will solve the problem. The left seems to be a little open, a simple dressing issue. Reference images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. L3.The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. Trimming the edge a little will be enough. On the right side, it will probably be necessary to move one of the squares,. Reference images The finishing of the blaster is too "rough". While the rest of the weapon looks good(maybe paint some silver screws), we would suggest removing the scope/Hengstler etc., and sanding it down (at least to get rid of the large bumps) and repainting it. Reference image That's all James... As I have already told you, I hope to see your Centurion application soon...Congratulations!!! 1 Quote
