dblcross[TK] Posted April 4, 2023 Author Report Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) Ok, first partial kit up because I want to see how my thighs look. I'm using a belt with 2" nylon and velcro inside the thighs and on the end of the nylon for adjustment up and down. Once it's good I may change it to a snap-type system with the belt. At the moment I don't have any rear shots because the other half is still at work. once she's home, which is why I'm not wearing my boots! I couldn't get them on! I'll suit up again for some rear shots. Also, I've got the wrong size double cap rivets, so my ammo pack isn't ready. Any input on this would be wonderful! Jeez, you wonder if I'm from Memphis, TN. with Elvis whiskey in the background! Edited April 4, 2023 by dblcross spelling Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted April 4, 2023 Report Posted April 4, 2023 A little hard to judge spacing without boots for the legs, does make a difference. Can't quite see the overlap of chest to ab but it does look like you could bring the abdomen up a touch. Note the shin cover strip should cover the top ridge, you have yours trimmed below the ridge 1 Quote

dblcross[TK] Posted April 6, 2023 Author Report Posted April 6, 2023 (edited) My power went out as soon as I suited up but I got a lot done today. Belt finished (I lovedfn1313 's use of Chicago screws). Also finished the ammo pack on thigh. gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted April 6, 2023 Report Posted April 6, 2023 Note sure if you can make this out but the bottom curve looks a little off compared to the other side Reference, note they aren't as rounded as some think 1 Quote

FN1313[TK] Posted April 7, 2023 Report Posted April 7, 2023 Looks like you went with the nylon strapping mounts too. I found they’d likely be easier to work on.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

dblcross[TK] Posted April 8, 2023 Author Report Posted April 8, 2023 Also, when I get bored at work, I run to the forums. Finally I realized my shins were closing the wrong way (inside to out) so I spent the evening fixing that.
