BAZINGA[TK] Posted November 26, 2023 Report Posted November 26, 2023 We're quite a bit colder than that most times by the end of November. There is a potential troop next Sunday and while it is indoors there might be an opportunity to be outside for part of it and I'm wondering if I could stand it for any length of time. Bart Quote

Bart It's not pleasant that's for sure, but we took plenty of breaks over the 6 hours we trooped. Ah wee 10 min outside at an indoor event on a cold day is always welcome, you'll be fine. Quote

Sithping[TK] Posted December 31, 2023 Author Report Posted December 31, 2023 (edited) Troop #36 and #37 Well, that was the perfect way to round off the year, we attended two concerts back to back Friday and Saturday night with live orchestra playing the music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer. Our charities for the events were Glasgow Children's Hospital charity and Edinburgh children's hospital charity. Both nights started with meeting the public at reception for photo opportunities, hi fives and fistbumps, followed by the same at intermission...during the finale encore we were allowed front of house in the auditorium whilst Star Wars main theme played out in glory..such a thrill to be standing there in character with a live orchestra playing a favourite score! To round the evening off we waved the public off in the foyer for last minute photos. Edited December 31, 2023 by Sithping 3 Quote
