Wompet[TK] Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 This was announced a couple of weeks ago, but I don't recall seeing it here: https://hasbropulse.com/pages/selfie-series I know some of us have gotten custom backing-boards and made custom figures, and now you can get a professionally made Black Series Stormtrooper figure of yourself. Available today in the U.S. (no dates on availability elsewhere unfortunately). 3 Quote
Wompet[TK] Posted November 3, 2022 Author Report Posted November 3, 2022 So this showed up a few days ago: Not the worse likeness (I don't think my nose is that big, though ...) 6 Quote

The cost on these is $59.99 through the Hasbro Pulse app, and the stated production time is about two months. It seems that Gary's lead time may have been a bit shorter. I'll admit, I spent an hour or so last week rescanning my face and experimenting with the different SW characters available. Perhaps I'll try to snag one as my birthday present next year. Note that it doesn't come with a helmet, but I imagine any other 6" TK figure bucket, like the one from the George Lucas figure, would be functional. 1 Quote

Mine took 4 weeks, but I did order it the first day they were available, so I was probably at the front of the line. As @MaskedVengeance stated, they’re $59.99 plus sales tax and shipping. 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 4, 2022 Report Posted November 4, 2022 How about a comparison photo 2 Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 5, 2022 Report Posted November 5, 2022 I think the figure looks a little more realistic I can definitely see a resemblance there, I've seen worse examples done for actors. 1 Quote
Jakebullet[TK] Posted November 22, 2022 Report Posted November 22, 2022 What a shame it's only available in the US, hopefully it'll come to the UK sometime Quote
tdurden[TK] Posted November 30, 2022 Report Posted November 30, 2022 There are a couple folks on Facebook that make these along with custom cards - the guy that made mine was in demand but I believe he's retired now... and a bit more than $60: Unfortunately, the cape fell in front of my helmet. 1 Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 30, 2022 Report Posted November 30, 2022 I made my own, wasn't that hard, you can find a lot of heads you can paint or modify, well not on the cheaper figs they are just a ball on a neck 8 Quote
MaskedVengeance[Staff] Posted November 30, 2022 Report Posted November 30, 2022 @paradoxb3 recently received his and the likeness is excellent! I'm pretty sure he also had a faster turnaround time than that estimated in the Hasbro app. Quote
Sithping[TK] Posted November 30, 2022 Report Posted November 30, 2022 The Hasbro ones are cool, but I also opted for the custom route. I used the Miggs head from the TVC line. 1 Quote
