Sly11[Admin] Posted September 16, 2022 Report Posted September 16, 2022 In a couple of days we get another Star Wars series where we will see a combination of period costumes from the Clone and imperial era hitting our lounge rooms. This thread is for fun discussion and any anomolies or potential differences with our beloved Stormtroopers. Image of the FBFX workshop. These guys worked on Obi Wan and now Andor, bringing other characters like those pretty cool Purge troopers to life 2 Quote

MaskedVengeance[Staff] Posted October 13, 2022 Report Posted October 13, 2022 Ok so perhaps I’ve missed them from elsewhere before, but is this a new E-11 variant? Gotta say that I’m digging the extended barrel and t-tracks, and might need to find a way to build one. I could go either way on the extendable stock.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

It is basically the E-10 blaster the mudtroopers used in Solo, but without those silly ring sights and replaced with the E-11 scope and Hengsler counter. Looks like they also removed whatever that box was on the side with the rods sticking out. I actually built something like this last year for a Mando build. Made it out of a PVC pipe and 3D designed parts. I was thinking of it like an iteration between the E-10 and E-11. I was so pumped to see something like it on screen. My version isnt exactly accurate, but I would be happy to give you my 3D files I made if you have access to a 3D printer or want to tinker with them to make them more accurate. There are others on Etsy and such that have files of the Solo version for sale (which look pretty sweet) as another option. Edited October 13, 2022 by gwf2683 removed un-needed photo 2 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted October 14, 2022 Author Report Posted October 14, 2022 So far looking much the same as R1. Hit and miss with the light though. Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 I still don't know why they don't just glue the thighs shut, or use gaffa tape 1 Quote
Aradun[TK] Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 I still don't know why they don't just glue the thighs shut, or use gaffa tape[/url] It’s not surprising though. There’s definitely been some laziness with regard to production for these shows. TBs with knee armor incorrectly worn. Shores with visible gaffer tape holding things together. 1 Quote

I normally find gaffa tape on at least one trooper, TROS was a perfect example of gaffa tape usage, again I don't know why they just don't glue the thighs shut, it's such a common issue. 1 Quote
Nairy[Staff] Posted November 23, 2022 Report Posted November 23, 2022 We got a lot of new screen time with the TKs now! Exciting! Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted November 23, 2022 Author Report Posted November 23, 2022 Was a pretty good episode and there is an awesome button at the end of the credits!!!! Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 23, 2022 Report Posted November 23, 2022 Was a lot slower in places but that's what you get for a series of 12 episodes compared to the quick paced 6 episodes we have seen in other series. I enjoyed the series, the only issue I have had is seeing more and more costumes/variations that aren't around in RO or ANH, really isn't consistent with the timeline, but that's just me, some I've spoken to haven't cared about the inconstancies .
