This version has the legs, so that’s a plus. I’ll have to do some comparisons when I get home.

After looking through the two and comparing images, I went with the OxProps file for the mortar. It's more detailed and looks more accurate. There were a couple things on the Empire3D file that were off or missing. So now I've got the files for the mortar and the backpack, and a friend of mine is going to print them for me. So stay tuned!

So I took a look at my R1 biceps I have and yeeeeah they’re not right.

 

 

So looks like I’ll be getting them in the kit after all

So after several hours of looking at paints and trying out different shades, I believe I’ve found a shade of yellow that is extremely close to the screen used paint. Here it is on a strip of white ABS so you can judge.

 

 

Compare to the yellow of the trooper

Looks pretty close to me, all being well your pauldron will match that.

Be interesting to see how he does it, whether he has a color similar or have to paint/dye it that color.

Sooooo I did check and it is Rustoleum. Painter’s Touch.

Krylon was the white paint I bought.
