Commander Code[TK] Posted October 6, 2022 Author Report Posted October 6, 2022 Also. Since on the subject of my left leg.... The knee plate. It is perfectly straight. Looks great from front. Lines up and looks great from the outside (left side). However, the inside (right side) is not aligned with the top of the shin. I tried a little heat and bend but this causes the corner ( where knee plate starts to go vertical) to bow out and puts a lot of stress on the rest of the knee plate. Is this a problem? If so, suggestions please! Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted October 6, 2022 Report Posted October 6, 2022 Shouldn't be an issue for base approval. On an angle on the front appears to be standard with AP if you want the sides to meet up. Ultimately that will be up to the @Deployment Officer Team for higher levels. Here's a few Centurion AP sniper plates for comparison. #508 #500 #486 Quote

The left thigh with the cuts is pictured in a recent previous post. Even with this cut it is difficult to move. I can not remove anymore without impacting my eligibility for L2/L3. Missed that. I still think you should look at positioning your shins lower on your boots, they are sitting vey high on the ankle. At times a little heat is needed to help open up the base so it sits lower on the boot. Comparisons with how low the shins are on the boots L3 Quote
