TK-8224[501st] Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I'm building an AP armour, and wonder how I should put the velcro on my calves. I'm making ANH strips like in Stukatroopers tutorial. Do I use strips on the back of the calves, or do I just overlap the pieces like you would on an FX? Quote
TK-7980 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I've never assembled an AP kit, but I assume the strips go on the front of the calves Quote

obiwanboydy Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 25mm for the back of the shin, outside edge glued only. Quote
Billhag Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) Lisa If you follow Peter's (Stukatrooper) fantastic tutorial you shouldn't have too many problems Glue only the left edge of the finishing strip for your left calve and the right edge of the strip for the right calve. Then apply heavy duty velcro to the overlap. Hope this helps Edited February 12, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photos updated gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
