The only 501st member was there in his professional stunt capacity. They're all stunt actors in that shot aside from Hayden. Correct I did mention that they were all actors 23 hours ago, gmrhodes13 said: Appears this confirms it was actors, middle back has been in other costumes Quote

Now do they mean the actual members of the 501st Legion or actors wearing 501st legion style costumes Technically this is an accurate statement. The 501st Legion Clone Troopers executed Order 66 at the Jedi Temple and this is their paint scheme. I believe that's what they're referring to, but not 100% sure. 2 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted June 25, 2022 Report Posted June 25, 2022 It's awesome there are finally live action clones as opposed to pure CGI. 1 Quote

I was way too excited to see them. I believe they popped up in the Andor trailer as well. This is definitely a good time to be a Star Wars fan. 1 Quote

That image is on page two of this thread was an early release by Disney, here is the partner to that image, notice the overlap of the thighs on the cods, one nearly hitting the belt. In the previous image the thigh is covering the drop box. Quote

In the previous image the thigh is covering the drop box. I think the key takeaway from this is how short the webbing/ elastic is that's holding the dropbox to the large ammo box. The current ROTK Centurion requirement states: The two drop boxes hang no more than 1” 25mm below the front belt and the black strap is visible. But from the reference photos I've seen both here, and other Anthology era shows, I would suggest future CRLs call for maybe a 1/4"-1/2" visible strap. Honestly, these hang almost identical to the Shore, muddy, and ICAT Driver costumes, but aren't hinged like those examples. Regarding the thighs, if you look closely at the trooper on the right, you can make out the sleeve that covers the side thigh strap. The wavy elastic look is definitely there. For those who haven't gotten a good look at this, here's the Mimban TK thigh armor strapping: Good catches Glen! 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted July 14, 2022 Report Posted July 14, 2022 From the interwebs, a couple of extended stock E-11's middle 3 from back and back right also DLT-19's front right, and some familiar faces 3 Quote

Have you found where the extended stocks are on the show? They're probably somewhere obvious and I'm just overlooking them. Quote

RCMUSTANG[501st] Posted July 15, 2022 Report Posted July 15, 2022 Now that it's public, the scene where it cuts with the clear shot of the extended stock, that was my real steel sterling that I shot with for 2 days. 5 Quote

Very nice, was great to see the stock extended in the show, a goosebump moment. I flick mine out from time to time, younglings get a kick out of it as they see a lot of weapons these days in films that use stocks. Quote

Daetrin[Admin] Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 Dunno about you guys, but it sure makes me wish I had an "in" to be in just one episode, just one. 3 Quote

Scariff was about 5.5 miles from me! I drove part them setting up for Kef Bir and the crashed death star after a tip off from a friend who saw the crew loading up on snacks! 1 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 @themaninthesuitcase you need to get into the "it" crowd of the UKG, Gary knows something about that Quote
Wompet[TK] Posted September 8, 2022 Report Posted September 8, 2022 I'm no good at getting screen captures, but the newly streaming "Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return" has some nice, clear shots of the Kenobi-style stormtroopers. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 Quite a bit more than I thought there may have been, I'll just post a couple of pics for now 1 Quote
