Heavy Blaster

Using the 5th horsemans files, I printed the heavy blaster.

 

Using XTC-3D filler, so far so good. Electronics on order and should be in hand within 10 weeks.

 

Printed parts:

It does a great job in filling the lines (basically it is thin epoxy)

Shiny!

Just use sandpaper to knock down the lumps and bumps

Will still need filler primer, but this should take some time off the build

Nice start.

 

One detail which some miss is the rear sight, on the standard F-11D it is black on the F-11D Heavy it is white

Back from the dead. Was not happy with XT-3 on the PETG parts, now I printed with White ASA and black ABS. Line quality is much improved.

First step to paint, then modify for Blast-FX electronics.

Drilled all the pathways, now to final paint.
