TK14209[TK] Posted August 6, 2022 Author Report Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) i have a question? When we post picture in our log, if there are children in the photo are we supposed to black out their faces as to not show them? or is okay to show them? I have seen a few posts with them marked out and seen some not marked out. Edited August 6, 2022 by TK14209 Quote
revlimiter[Staff] Posted August 6, 2022 Report Posted August 6, 2022 I always blank out kids faces. I have no idea if we have to do this or not, but I choose to do it. Quote
TKSpartan[Staff] Posted August 6, 2022 Report Posted August 6, 2022 At least here in Costa Rica, we have a children protection law that states you can't post kids photos without their parents permission, so we prefer to blank out most kids faces. 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 6, 2022 Report Posted August 6, 2022 Locally we don't post images of children on most social media, we do ask parents at times if it is ok to do so just in case someone forgets. I don't recall it being a rule for troop logs on our forum though. Quote
