Been a fan for a long time, so decided now its time to be a storm trooper, still an imposing sight for this man child, based in Trim, Co Meath but from Dublin originally

Also a modelmaker/painter so always making, modifying and weathering stuff, mainly model railways, but also involved in organising of Ireland biggest model exhibition

Will be a ESB TK eventually with 501st approval, will be taking my time for now, walking into this, not running

Thanks to @welshchris77 for the recommendation

Hi Ed,

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you here.

Whatever stormtrooper type you decide on there's plenty of info and advice in the threads, and lots of other TKs who will want to help.

As for the ESB TK, absolutely it's approveable; it's my current outfit. You can find the CRL (details needing for building) here:

https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_esb

Your basic clearance is handled by your local garrison, but there are further levels you can work towards for greater accuracy if you wish, and it's so much easier to have those in mind from the start. Those further levels are handled here, with details in the advanced tactics folder. They are known as Expert Infantry (level 2) and Centurion (level 3).

If you have any questions about any part of your build please ask.

Looking forward to seeing your build :salute:

Rich

Thanks Rich, the 501st Ireland Garrison finally made a return to Trooping recently, so was crewing/minding/handling on that , was good fun. Something to get more into as lockdown slowly departs our lives

Welcome aboard Ed!

If you haven't worked it out yet, there is loads of very supportive members on the FISD forums, so everyone has your back when it comes to researching and getting you on your way to becoming an approved Stormtrooper.

We also run 2 additional levels of higher accuracy above the basic 501st approval level.9Expert Infantry, and Centurion) Well worth considering these from the outset as you will find they are easier to integrate as you build rather than deciding after you are finished that you want to take the next step.  i should also add, very rewarding.

once again, welcome aboard.
