I've seen some belt kits come with the canvas belt material, and then the outer rubber ribbed layer, but without the middle foam like layer. Others, like the one on the way to me from Belts of the First Order, have 3 layers I believe, as do the screen-used ones I think. If you're just looking for the middle layer maybe the one I linked could work.

Thanks mate, that's exactly what I think just need to trim to 2" wide . :salute:

Thank you Glenn, what  I mean is for  the middle layer, I already have the ribbed one and the nylon layer too.  I would need to cut to 2" to match the rubber one. Thoughs?

Roger that, only on my first coffee ;)

Could work as long as it doesn't compress too much.

AB BOXES TRIMMING AND  ASSEMBLY

Because I considered  I'm not so skilled in shaping those small  boxes :56pullhair: , I Found this Contour Gauge.

ZihElDY.jpg?1

Make the up and down contours

         TBdso4Z.jpg?1

Marked to the box sides.

    JaxRQu7.jpg?1

Sanding a bit and fit the box.

Repeat the process with all the boxes.

AB BELT , BOXES AND POUCHES ASSEMBLY

3 Layers Ribbed Rubber ,Closed Cell Sponge and Polyester Webbing

dzFQoTx.jpg?2

Leave aprox 2 inches free of the Ribbed Rubber layer to attach the buckle and glued the 2 layers (I used the Sponge adhesive and add a bit of AC Gel Glue.

wakC4hC.jpg?1

Found a round container form the laundry room to keep the belt in the correct shape . Be sure to measure the circumference of your AB armor section not your body.

tcqZUj6.jpg?1

ZmQIigT.jpg?1

aiI7rur.jpg?1

ouFucob.jpg?1

Used some magnets, (you never have enough of them)  to help the 2 layers  to keep in place while gluing them.

gfMTtzR.jpg?1

Z5S05LY.jpg?1

Buckle Install adding the 3rd Layer.

r6cpJIl.jpg?1

M0ltFti.jpg?1

Used magnets  again to keep the pieces steady to make the holes for the screws.

GAf2jsG.jpg?1

Used Chicago Screws to affix the layers.

BOXES AND POUCHES INSTALL

I Started with the center Boxes.

pNmcV53.jpg?1

I gave a Black paint cape to the inner halves

9ShuGdC.jpg?2

rtHh6z9.jpg?1

95uzDlg.jpg?1

Added the Snap to the webbing layer that will attach the belt to the armor.  The two horizontal boxes go aligned with the center of the armor , not the center of the belt.

Aejl4xx.jpg?1

Again, used the chicago screws method to attach the inner boxes.

KT5WnQU.jpg?1

And E6000 to glue the Covers

hBqTqw2.jpg?1

34KAIBb.jpg?1

For the two vertical boxes I used black elastic to attach them in a flexible connection.  NOTE the vertical boxes go aligned  a little lower in the belt than the horizontal ones.
