But it might take a lot of work, depending on the condition in which the armor is now. But for 500$ you can also get some decent kits out there. You'd have to build them from the start on, but they are far more accurate than FX. I started my journey with a FX armor ~ 9 years ago and wouldn't do it at that price. Even back then, I paid less.
